Rob D. from Dallas, TX contacted us with the question, "My C: drive is full, my computer is running slow and keeps reminding me that it is full. I need to delete some files. Is there an easier way to find the biggest files on my computer, wherever they are, so I can delete a few files and get back to work?
Do a size-based search with WheresMyStuff. Click the SEARCH ANY tab at the top and then go to the time-line and click ANY TIME to make sure you are looking at all of your files. Next, type in a large number in the SIZE filter box (see below) and pick AT LEAST to make sure you look at only the biggest files, select your disk and press SEARCH. In a few seconds you will see every file on your drive that is larger than the size you entered. Pick through those big files that you don't need any more and delete. You are now back in business.
