Scenario 16: Find Private Files
Paul H. from Tulsa, OK contacted us with the question, "I am going to give my old computer to my daughter, but I want to make sure that all of my personal information has been cleared from it, no matter where it is on the disk. There are some really important files there that I don't want to miss. Is there an easier way than going through each folder? That is going to take me forever!"
Go to your Search Any tab. Set the Timeline range selectors to Any Time. Set your filter using keywords for your personal information and press Search. You will find any files that fit your filter criteria anywhere on your drives in a second or two.
